چکیده

Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is the only oilseed crop having richest source of quality protein (~ 40%) apart from 20% edible and share 22 % oil requirement country. The present study was carried out to estimate important genetic parameters such as genotypic coefficient variance (GCV), phenotypic (PCV), heritability (h2) expected advance (EGA).Thirty-five soybean genotypes collected different centers country were studied for nine yield, yield contributing morphological characters at All India Coordinated Research Project on during kharif ,2013. analysis revealed that sufficient variability in material all characters. value variation (PCV) greater than (GCV). high GCV PCV observed number pods per plant, branches seed plant height. High estimates coupled with height indicating presence additive gene action. Therefore, more emphasis should be focused these traits selection improvement soybean.

Mapping quantitative trait loci for yield-related traits in soybean (Glycine max L.)

Development of soybean cultivars with high seed yield is a major focus in soybean breeding programs. This study was conducted to identify genetic loci associated with seed yield-related traits in soybean and also to clarify consistency of the detected QTLs with QTLs found by previous researchers. A population of 135 F2:3 lines was developed from a cross between a vegetable soybean line (MJ0004-...

Gamma irradiation was used at different doses (80, 160 and 240 Gy) on Glycine Max (L.) Merrill cv. Hill homogenous seeds. A single suitable M2 plant was selected and evaluated at M3 and M4 along with its parent and three other varieties as control in RCBD experiment in Sari Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University’s experimental field.
